Kelly is the owner of Agape Massage Therapy and Bodywork. Her passion to pursue a career as a massage therapist began after personally experiencing the power of healing and skilled touch. Graduating top of her class, she studied at the National Holistic Institute (NHI) College of Massage Therapy under some of the top leaders of massage therapy in the US. She also studied oncology and infusion center massage with Greet the Day and is able to work safely with clients who are currently in chemotherapy or have a history of cancer treatment. In addition to neuromuscular and oncology massage, she has experience working in a chiropractic office, an ayurvedic wellness center, and a high-end spa. She was invited back to NHI to be an instructor and mentor to new massage therapy students. In a short amount of time, Kelly established a well-rounded résumé. She has had a thriving private practice since 2013 and loves helping her clients feel better.

Wife, mother of four, and absolutely smitten grandmother of three, her favorite thing is spending time with her family. She enjoys teaching children at church each week. Kelly loves the ocean and tries to get there at least once a week in the warmer months. She also enjoys reading, watching movies, and spending time with friends.

RUTH MULLIGAN

Ruth is a skilled and highly educated massage and Bowen therapist. She has been practicing massage since 1999. After working for 15 years at a busy chiropractic office, she came across the Bowen Technique. She invested an additional 1,000 hours in educating herself in this technique so she could offer clients even more tools to help alleviate pain and bring balance to the body. In addition to deep tissue massage and Bowen therapy, Ruth is trained in SCENAR therapy and oncology massage.

Ruth loves spending time with family and friends. She is passionate about volunteering her time and talents and giving back to the community. She has volunteered giving oncology massage at Miller Children’s Hospital, MemorialCare Long Beach Medical Center, and Greet the Day. She has volunteered with Working Wardrobes for many years helping prepare individuals to reenter the workforce.

In Ruth’s private practice of over 9 years, she has provided educated, compassionate touch and gives her all to her clients to help them reach their wellness goals. We at Agape Massage Therapy and Bodywork consider her a huge asset to our wellness team.

CHELSIE CHA

Chelsie Cha is a California State Certified neuromuscular massage therapist who has been practicing since 2016. She was educated at National Holistic Institute College of Massage Therapy where she studied Western and Eastern Modalities as well as Advanced Neuromuscular. She has passed the Massage and Bodywork Licensure Examination. She was also an assistant to the student life and career coordinator through the Federal Work-Study Program during her time as a student.

Since graduating, Chelsie has worked at Massage Envy in Yorba Linda, Anaheim Hills, Brea, and Whittier from 2017-2020. She has worked at 2 different chiropractic offices and as a massage therapist with St. Jude’s Wellness Center. Chelsie loves music and reading. She really enjoys spending time with family and friends. She loves her work and gets great satisfaction from helping people feel better.
